HAI XIAN WEI

Maybe one of our favorite restaurants in Taipei. The place is pretty hard to find. Going up Kangding Road from Longhshan Temple, turn left just before the Taiwan Business Bank. Once you arrive at the small market where Hai Xian Wei is located, just sit down at the counter and let the chef prepare some sushi and other tempuras for you. Many regulars come here to drink a beer and have a bite to eat; the neighbourhood atmosphere is therefore particularly pleasant and conducive to encounters.
