SASA
Sasa is perhaps one of the best Japanese establishments in Taipei. In a small alley in Zhongshan, the restaurant offers an intimate setting, with a large bar with a capacity of about twenty seats surrounding the kitchen of the itamae, Japanese chefs who are masters in the art of making sushi. Itamae also means "in front of the counter", an appropriate translation for Sasa, so observing the cooks working with infinite delicacy on the different pieces of raw fish is a rare sight. The menus consist of about ten courses.
