Just a five-minute walk from Ximen station, the Taipei Dreamhouse has all the makings of a dream home: this small guesthouse is located in a very quiet alley, far from the hustle and bustle of Wanhua. This absence of noise is a real luxury in this very touristy part of the capital, where it's rare to find such a haven of peace. In terms of comfort, the rooms are clean and functional, and among the least expensive in the city. Remember to ask for a room with a window before booking.
