Just a five-minute walk from the Chiang Kai-shek memorial and one kilometer from the Botanical Gardens, this hotel's central location remains its main asset. Unlike most hotels in Taipei, which are located on a particular floor of a building, the Taipei Teachers' House owns the entire building, which has recently been refurbished. The whole lacks charm, but the rooms are clean and well-maintained. A small café-restaurant is located on the first floor, offering a pleasant option for relaxing after a day's sightseeing.
