This hotel is ideally located, just a few steps from the Dr Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall. The zen, minimalist decor, with its designer objects and furniture, offers all the comforts of a luxury hotel (cable TV, hairdryer, minibar, fitness center on the 18th floor overlooking the city, bath and shower in every room). Favored by other heavyweights in the capital's hotel industry, the United Hotel is well worth a visit, if only to appreciate the originality of the place, as it is Taipei's first design hotel.
