DAVAYAT CASTLE
This small château can be visited in fine weather, and welcomes weddings and events in its salons and orangery.
This manor house was built at the end of the 16th century by Blaize Roze, a wealthy merchant from Riom. Today, the 18th generation takes care of this beautiful residence. The five hectares of parkland and formal gardens were designed by a pupil of Le Nôtre. The visit includes the chapel and the vast rooms on the first floor, where paintings and objets d'art are on display. The salons and Orangerie overlooking the main courtyard, guarded by two Volvic stone lions, can be used for events.
