This 57-hectare park in the Taipei basin (Beitou district) is where the Keelung and Tansui rivers meet. Freshwater and brackish ponds and marshes are the main landscapes of the park, where you can observe a large number of migratory birds (over 280 species recorded), season permitting. A stroll through the marshes quickly makes you forget you're in one of the world's largest megalopolises. The park also offers educational trails to help you learn more about the local ecosystem.
