SHUIXINYUE TEA HOUSE

Just behind the theater, turn left down Shuqi Road. The house that houses this teahouse is certainly one of the most beautiful in the whole of Jiufen, and perhaps one of the most authentic. The view is breathtaking, and the decor particularly impressive, with period furniture and traditional lanterns. In summer, the cool basement, with its terrace overlooking the sea, is the most pleasant room. In winter, the upstairs with its steaming pots of tea takes you back in time, creating a warm and intimate atmosphere.
