Perhaps one of the best addresses in Jiufen and undoubtedly one of the most authentic. Held by an old lady, whose husband was a calligrapher and woodcarver, this guesthouse offers several rooms, with mountain or sea views. All are laid out in the Japanese style, with tatami on the floor and a space free of any unnecessary volume. The works of the family, some of which are impressive, decorate all the rooms of the house. The owner can make breakfast on request.
