It's located in the middle of Jishan Road. This well-decorated hotel takes you back in time, and offers very comfortable, spotlessly clean rooms, the most expensive of which boast a splendid view of the valley and surrounding mountains. You can't miss it as you drive through Jiufen: on the (raised) first floor, a small restaurant, which doubles as a tea house, gives an idea of the comfort of the premises and the attention paid to detail, with carefully selected period objects. The warm welcome adds an extra touch.
