Opened in 2004, the 5th Benshan tunnel has been renovated to allow visitors to travel several hundred meters underground. Visitors enter out of curiosity, but leave thrilled. The designers have done a remarkable job, enlarging the tunnel without altering it (the wooden structures and rails formerly used for the wagons remain), and adding a few pleasant stops. The water trickles down a little, adding to the charm of the place. Not to be missed, especially by fans of industrial history.
