Built during the Japanese occupation (and considered a historic building), the station is located in the old city center, but is well connected to all neighborhoods by the numerous buses right in front of it. Trains are particularly frequent: rarely more than 10 minutes waiting time between each train. In the station, a small tourist information office in a refurbished carriage provides brochures and city maps. The high-speed train station is built outside the city, to the west. A regular bus service links the two stations.
