AQUA RESTAURANT
Located in the heart of the new Taichung, right next to the opera house and the town hall, this modern and minimalist restaurant opened in 2006 and is both a restaurant and a bar. Their large tables are reminiscent of Parisian brasseries and make it easy to chat with your neighbours. On the cooking side, the influences are clearly European but are presented in such a way as to appeal to a mainly Chinese clientele. Their speciality: fondue, which has nothing Savoyard about it, since it is nothing more than bread croutons covered with melted cheese.
