In the port, just off Pier 2, this shopping mall, housed in former warehouses built in 1914, features an interesting collection of objects from daily life up to the 1970s. A good way to measure Taiwan's impressive development and its economic miracle. The mall is also home to restaurants, a second-hand bookshop, a small museum on Kaohsiung harbour, and unique craft stores. It's a great place to take a stroll along the quays while learning about local history.
