Housed in the beautiful Neiweipei Park, the Museum of Fine Arts includes an amphitheatre, a park with outdoor sculptures and a natural lake. Opened in 1984, the building is a bit austere, but some of the exhibits are worth a look and give a good insight into the art scene in southern Taiwan. It also shows an important collection of calligraphy, with pieces from mainland China, some of which are made by local artists.
