Kaohsiung is at the forefront of the arts in Taiwan. In the harbor, several former warehouses have been converted into artists' studios, exhibition halls and theaters. The place is superb, the surrounding area (notably the old railroad line) having also been renovated, and is well worth a detour and several hours' visit. Exhibitions are mostly non-permanent and free of charge. Take the time to wander from building to building, as the complex is immense. An information center provides full details of all activities.

Lieu très intéressant pour découvrir l'art moderne et la création taïwanaise. Ce lieu est très animé le dimanche : de nombreuses familles y viennent, notamment pour faire un tour en petit train.
