PENGHU LIVING MUSEUM
Go there and contact
Opened a few years ago near a large Confucius temple, this museum devoted to the history and contemporary life of the Penghu population in all its diversity - education, fishing, religion, crafts and local traditions - offers a comprehensive view of the archipelago. A wonderful introduction to life on this small archipelago, it can be visited in an hour or two. A particularly interesting large-scale model gives an idea of the island's traditional urban layout, designed to withstand the fairly strong winds that batter the Pescadores.
