Upmarket hotel offering activities such as hiking and discovering the local ecosystem.

The only option for accommodation, this Exclusive Collection resort has sublimated the archipelago's natural assets to offer top-of-the-range services in harmony with nature. Hiking, scuba diving, glass-bottom kayaking, yoga, discovery of the local ecosystem, catamaran sailing - you'll have no time to get bored before a well-deserved rest in rooms decorated in designer style and inspired by local crafts. The club also offers non-residents the chance to spend the day here, enjoying the facilities and lunch (SR 2,000, including transfers).

No value for money. Avoid the hotel for much better alternatives or bring your own towels and water if you have an extra 4,000 USD or equivalent to spend for the 3 star hotel experience. For example I would suggest the Marriott Tribute which costs 2500 USD versus 6500 USD we paid fo a week. The top negatives to be aware of:

1. There are no towels at the beach, at the pool, anywhere. When you ask, you will be told that the person is 'just a receptionist and therefore cannot help'. There is no holistic approach to solving guest problems and they compartmentalize the problems.

2. Hygiene: We have seen several cases where the forks and knives are 'recycled'. Not sure whether this was the claim to the eco-resort which Club Med is not. The other really disgusting thing is, especially in the Reef Lounge, the birds literally sit on the plates and forks and knives. When we suggested - just this morning - that they should be brought to the table after the guests sit, the reaction of the staff was that 'this is standard practice'. When we challenged, they said it is a good advice. On top of it, they did not even bother to bring new forks and knives even to save face. We will leave it to future guests to assess, and our worry is that this is the tip of the iceberg.

3. Room service: Which one? The linens are not changed but on the positive side the sand which inevitably accumulates good be a good alternative to the Kids Club - next item.

4. Kids Club: There seems to be no proper training on how to manage kids, they just drag them from restaurant to pool. We stopped kids club in day 3. The all sporty look and feel in the website is fake. There is no sailing or tennis or archery, it is only one time canoe in 3 days.

5. Sports and Watersports: The average age of tournaments for table tennis is around 5-6. The padel is better to be fair. But watersports shot down at 5 pm, the best time to do some pedaling, and also are closed btw 12-2 pm.

6. Overall staff motivation: Nobody is happy, and they don't even act. Not sure if it is good or bad. The unhappiest seem to be the boogie drivers, in rare cases where you manage to get a boogie, as there are not many available.

7. Excursions: They will do the best to give you the minimum information and actually seem to be there to discourage you from taking an excursion. Really not joking. Maybe a good thing because they are very over-priced compared to outside. If you are still not convinced and will visit Clubmed, check out yourself. Try Adele.

8. Transfers: Transfers are super-over-priced and they charge you over 200 EUR for a one way transfer from airport to resort. 10 minutes transfer and 10 minutes boat trip. If you do it yourself even thru excursions within Club MEd, it would cost you 70 EUR.

9. Food and drinks: The food is mediocre and repetitive to say the least. There is 2 type of beer, and the cheapest drinks in general. No cocktails worth drinking. But most importantly, the water is desalinated or tastes like that bad quality desalinated water, so forget drinking tea and bring your own water 3 liters per person per day if anyone has kidney problems in addition to the unavoidable diarrhea this water causes.

10. WiFi:Same quality as 1998 dial up. Just an alert, the premium WiFi is strangely even worse at 10 euros a day.

11. If you take their recommended taxi, it is also 150% more expensive. We found out after the event. So it really must be petty business of some enterprising staff, else why would clubmed lose future customers just to get 150 SCR (11 usd) more from a taxi trip?!

Seychelles is a beautiful island but just avoid Club Med to get stuck with the worst value for money .

I am not a club med hater - despite the really cheesy entertainment (celebrating UNbirthdays - to give you a feel), actually next winter would be my 6th ski trip although after this trip's frustration I am also cancelling my next trip in winter.

So, if you like skiing with Club Med, another good reason not to pick Club Med Seychelles.

Amazing place over a private island. Had fantastic time thanks to amazing GOs like Joseph (snorkeling with academic instructions) and Juliette who created amazing vibes for our kids at the teens club. Many thanks to Dhokan as well at nautical club. Restauration could be better both at selection of foods and service but overall was ok.

We had a wonderful holiday at Club Med Seychelles. The resort is very family-friendly and has an awesome, inclusive party vibe. The food is delicious and drinks excellent. It's absolutely beautiful everywhere you go. Most of the staff are welcoming, friendly, and ready to assist where needed. The minibar had only water in it, which was strange for a 5 star resort. No snacks, beer or cooldrink. It was sometimes difficult to get a waiter's attention for a drink order at the main buffet restaurant. But those are minor things.
