TAMASHOUET CHRISTIAN CEMETERY
A large Christian cemetery extending over 12 hectares, with beautiful statues and vaults.
Covering 12 hectares, it is Oran's largest Christian cemetery, founded in 1857 and often referred to as the "little Père Lachaise" because of its beautiful statues and vaults. It is a place of remembrance often visited by pieds-noirs. Unfortunately, it has become somewhat neglected... The map of concessions can be consulted at the entrance, so ask the janitors for more information, especially if you are looking for the grave of one of your ancestors.
