RAILWAY STATION
This is Oran's historic railway station. Construction began in 1903 and was completed in 1913. Its architecture reflects the symbols of the three religions of the Book. With its Moorish architectural style, it's well worth a visit even if you're not planning to take the train! Don't miss the clock-minaret and the rotunda, whose interior is decorated with stucco and mosaics, some in the shape of stars of David. Also worth seeing: the PLM (Paris-Lyon-Marseille) coat of arms inlaid in each corner of the ceiling, along with that of Oran.
