A 430-meter-high plateau to discover one of the city's most emblematic buildings: the chapel of Santa-Cruz.
At an altitude of 430 m, Aïdour mountain, otherwise known as Murdjadjo, dominates Oran. It can be reached via the Route des Planteurs or the cable car. These heights are home to one of the city's most emblematic buildings: the chapel of Santa-Cruz, as well as its fort and the koubba of Sidi Abdelkader, first erected in 1425 in homage to Sidi Abd al kader El Djilani, a patron saint from Baghdad who spread Sufism in Islamic lands. The koubba was destroyed several times and then rebuilt.
