SEA FRONT
It's a beautiful promenade, around 2 km long, overlooking the Grand Port. It stretches from the Zabana bridge in the Gambetta district to the eastern part of the city center at the Théâtre de verdure and the Square de la Victoire to the west.
A veritable balcony overlooking the sea and, in the foreground, the harbour, the movement of which you never tire of observing, the seafront is a very pleasant place for family strolls until late on summer nights. To the east of the harbour, the large, aggressive chimney is that of the power station built in the early 1950s.
