TAUGHAZOUT VILLAGE
The small village of Taoughazout is renowned for its caves steeped in history, home to humans since the troglodytic period.
The small village of Taoughazout welcomed around 1375 Ibn Khaldun, the one who can be considered the precursor of the history of civilizations and sociology. He lived in caves now classified as historical monuments where he would have written his Prolegomena. These caves are places rich in history and have been inhabited by humans since the troglodytic periods. Today, we still enjoy this natural refuge that offers a relaxing and almost mystical setting for the five senses (and maybe even the sixth).
