This little roadside canteen behind the town's port is a familiar sight in Bejaïa. It doesn't look much from the outside, just a few tables and chairs on a terrace, but its success is easy to see. At the counter, the owner serves excellent daily grilled fish and seafood. To be sure of eating the best catches of the day, come early, ideally around 11 a.m., because after 12.30 p.m. there's sometimes hardly anything left... A sure bet in Bejaïa. On the spot or to take away.
