Museum featuring collections of birds, African insects and prehistoric remains found in the Ali Bacha cave.
The museum houses a collection of prehistoric remains found in the Ali Bacha cave, as well as Roman and Hafsid artefacts. Important collections of African birds and insects. A library reading room is housed in a former vaulted cistern. Some forty paintings by the painter Emile Aubry, depicting Kabyle landscapes and local inhabitants in the early 20th century, were repatriated here after the demise of the dedicated museum.
