Kasbah built by the Almohads in the middle of the century, housing a mosque and a few remains from the Almohad period.
Nestling on the slopes of the cliff around a small square overlooking the sea and accessed by stairs, the old town preserves a few vestiges of the Almohad period that saw its birth, as you wander through the narrow streets of its labyrinth. Its construction dates back to 1154. Ibn Khaldun lectured at the Kasbah mosque, which is why a statue of this Arab intellectual has been enthroned at the entrance to the Kasbah since 2019. Bastions, sheds, stables, bakery, patio house... you won't be able to see everything as the site is currently being renovated.
