EMIR-ABDELKADER GARDEN
Museum garden featuring epigraphic stelae, columns with Latin inscriptions and capitals bearing witness to the history of Sétif.
This garden-museum (ex-garden of Orleans) is endowed with 200 epigraphic steles, columns with Latin inscriptions and capitals which are witnesses of the history of the region of Setif. These archaeological elements were brought to light in 1840. It is moreover the first lapidary museum (museum whose collections are mainly endowed with stones such as sculpted architectural elements, for example) of the city of Setif. Only drawback, it is not always perfectly maintained and many passers-by complain about the frequentation..
