DJEMILA MUSEUM
A museum with three rooms housing collections of small everyday objects and finely-carved jewelry, statues..
The museum consists of three halls, a garden and a courtyard where statues, columns, capitals... are stored. You'll recognize Bacchus, Hercules and the colossal head of Septimius Severus. The high walls of the rooms are entirely covered with mosaics, each more marvellous than the last. You can take time to contemplate Venus' toilette, the abduction of Europa by Jupiter transformed into a bull, a bestiary, etc., as well as the collections of small everyday objects and finely chiselled jewelry. Not to be missed!
