SIDE-RACHED BRIDGE
This unique twenty-seven-arched bridge in Constantine is named after a mausoleum located on a nearby rock.
It is named after a mausoleum located on a nearby rock. Started in 1907, it was inaugurated in April 1912, the same day as the suspension bridge of Sidi M'Cid. It was at the time the highest stone bridge in the world. This bridge is composed of 27 stone arches including one of 70 m which follow a curve of 450 m long between the city center and the station area to the road that leads to Batna, and spans the gorge to 105 m high. If, at the time of its inauguration, it was unique, it now has a brother in Luxembourg.
