MELLAH-SLIMANE FOOTBRIDGE
This footbridge in Constantine is reserved for pedestrians staggering between the station area and the city center.
Similar in appearance to the Sidi-M'Cid suspension bridge, the Mellah-Slimane footbridge (formerly the Perrégaux footbridge), renovated in 2002 (bridge structure and cable maintenance), was built between 1917 and 1925. At 125 m long and 2.50 m wide, it is reserved for pedestrians, who stagger between the station area and the city center, reached by elevator or stairs. In the station square, you'll find a replica of a statue of Constantine.
