SIDI M'CID SUSPENSION BRIDGE
Suspension bridge 175 metres above the Rhumel, offering fantastic views of the gorge, the town and the Hamma valley.
At 175 m above the Rhumel, the suspension bridge - once frequented by Marshal Juin and Enrico Macias - is 164 m long, almost 6 m wide and weighs 17 tonnes. Inaugurated in April 1912, at the same time as the Sidi-Rached bridge, it was built over the natural arch between the Boulevard de l'Abîme and the hospital, which used to be reached by making a detour via the El-Kantara bridge. From this bridge, there's a fantastic view of the gorge, the town and the Hamma valley.
