ARCHAEOLOGICAL PLACE
An archaeological site where you can discover tumuli and bazinas, as well as circular tombs typical of the Constantine region.
A visit to this archaeological site begins with a triumphal arch that opens up a main thoroughfare. You'll then pass Punic temples dedicated to the cult of Mithras, a Christian baptistery, a potter's workshop, a bakery, etc., all the way to the forum. Higher up, water towers and cisterns of all shapes and sizes are a reminder that the town was gradually abandoned due to a lack of springs. There are also tumuli and bazinas, circular tombs typical of the Constantine region. Something for the whole family!

A faire. Pour ceux qui connaissent le sire de Djemila il s agit encore d autre chose. Plusieurs périodes cohabitent (chrétiens Romains et bien avant)
Le paysage en arrivant sur les hauteurs est splendide.
