Mourad Achour claims to be Algeria's first master craftsman of red coral. His creations are made from corallium rubrum fished from the Mediterranean Sea in El Kala, a village renowned for coral production for hundreds of years. Necklaces, ornaments, bracelets, rosaries, rings, earrings... all the pieces are splendid and superbly crafted. The store also features unique hand-carved sculptures in heather wood. Great gifts to bring home and support local craftsmanship.
