HAMMAM CHELLALA (EX-MESKOUTINE)
Grey rock cones found in hot springs that gush out of the ground at temperatures of 90°C.
15 km west of Guelma, where hot springs gush out of the ground at a temperature of 90°C, one of the highest on the planet, nature has created an eminently dramatic landscape. These are gray rocky cones or "white streams" due to the limestone deposited by the water up to a large waterfall where, again, the limestone and erosion have sculpted strange shapes highlighted by the steam emitted by the almost bubbling water. The site is fantastic.
