A lovely, photogenic desert spot in Bou Saada, home to the ruins of Antoine Ferrero's old mill.

Located 2 km from Bou Saâda town center, this is an old mill that belonged to a certain Ferrero. Antoine Ferrero, an Italian born on September 28, 1849 in Carona (Turin), emigrated to Algeria in 1867. He worked in various flour mills and founded the Ferrero mill for the local milling industry. Only ruins remain today, the structure having been washed away by a flood in 1975. Nonetheless, the site is beautiful and very photogenic in a desert setting. It's a great place to take a walk and discover the nearby waterfalls.
