NATIONAL MILITARY MUSEUM
Museum housing over 250 war machines, including artillery pieces, fighter planes, missiles, torpedoes..
Its name in Cyrillic script: Национален военноисторически музей. In this huge courtyard of 40,000m2 are lined up as if on parade more than 250 war machines: artillery pieces, combat aircraft, missiles, torpedoes, self-propelled guns, armored vehicles and some helicopters including a MI-24 like the one in the famous scene of Rambo III. Also noteworthy are the T-34, T-55 and T-72 tanks and the SS-23 missiles that NATO had asked Bulgaria to dismantle before it joined the alliance.
