In Cyrillic: Софийска Градска Художествена Галерия. Opposite the National Theater, on two floors, this richly endowed, not-to-be-missed museum is dedicated to Bulgarian artistic creation and is spread over four areas: painting, sculpture, graphics, contemporary art and photography. Its collection comprises over 23,000 works by Bulgarian artists from the late 19th century to the present day. Some of its sculptures are displayed in the open air in the Jardin de la Ville.
