HISTORY MUSEUM (МУЗЕЙ МУЗЕЙ)

The Museum of History in Vratsa, in a beautiful building representative of Brutalism, is spread out in nine rooms. Its jewel is the Thracian treasure of Rogozhen, the largest ever discovered. We also discover the oldest human skeleton discovered in Bulgaria, eight thousand years old. Several rooms concern recent history: the struggle against the Ottoman yoke, the labor movement, the economic development of the city of Vratsa. Also an exhibition of minerals.
