MUSEUM OF ARCHAEOLOGY (МУЗЕЙ "МУЗЕЙ")
Part of the Vidin History Museum, this museum showcases archaeological discoveries over the centuries.
At the end of the pedestrian street leading from the Danube, you'll find a large, beautiful 18th-century Ottoman-style house, once a police station. For over a century, it has housed the Vidin History Museum, showcasing the region's archaeological discoveries. Numerous artifacts from the Neolithic period are on display. One area is dedicated to the Roman period and the site of Ratiaria, founded by Trajan in 107, 25 km southeast of Vidin.
