Home of Diko I. Iliev, the author of popular horo rounds and brass band marches.
Tribute to Diko I. Iliev (1898-1985), Bulgarian folk musician, conductor and composer of brass band music, who led the wind orchestra at the House of Culture in Oryahovo and founded several wind orchestras from Vratsa to Montana. He composed popular rounds and marches, including the famous Dunavsko and Severnyachko. There's also an area dedicated to comedian Andrey Chaprazov, another Oryahovo-born artist, and another to urban life in the 1920s and 1930s.
