CANETTI HOUSES (КЪЩА ЕЛИАС ЕЛИАС КЪЩА)
Two private houses on Gourko Street and Slavyanski Boulevard.
Rue Gourko is the birthplace of the writer and thinker Elias Canetti and his brother Jacques. Boulevard Slavyanski is the home of the wealthy Canetti family, Jewish merchants who were able to wonderfully develop trade on the Danube, making Roussé a prosperous and outward-looking city. Their sons will reach the heights of European culture (Nobel Prize in Literature for Elias in 1981). Unfortunately, the two houses, which were privately owned, no longer visit each other.
