Museum housing a large number of prehistoric, historical and ethnographic exhibits.

This huge museum is one of the projects subsidized by the United Nations Development Program as part of its "Beautiful Bulgaria" projects. The museum boasts a large number of prehistoric, historical and ethnographic exhibits. A fine collection of Roman and Thracian remains. The ethnographic section features reconstructions of local villages. There are also some remarkable icons dating from medieval times.

me same born in the town of Pleven, this museum one of richer of collection in Bulgaria despite its old look in not very, I think that a day is very pleasant for visiting.
