It was in this house, built in the purest National Renaissance style, that the commander of the Turkish forces, Osman Pasha, surrendered to Tsar Alexander II in 1877. Now transformed into a museum, it is a perfect complement to a visit to the battlefield. Here, you can learn more about the event and its historical and strategic context. The museum was inaugurated in 1907 in the presence of Prince Ferdinand.
