KAILAKA PARK (КАЙЛЪКА КАЙЛЪКА)
Go there and contact
A park where Pleven residents come at weekends to enjoy all kinds of activities.
A picturesque natural area, protected since 1969, close to the town, this slightly old-fashioned park is much appreciated by the inhabitants of Pleven. You can admire the canyon of the Tuchenitsa River and be delighted that the site is home to a rich biodiversity. There are hiking trails, a lake with rowing and pedal boats, sports fields, playgrounds and even a troglodyte restaurant. Also worth seeing is the statue of Russian general Totleben, victor of the 1877 siege.
