HOUSE OF ANGEL KANTCHEV (КЪЩА КЪЩА КЪЩА)
Museum containing objects belonging to Angel Kantchev and a retrospective of his life and commitment.
In 1850, Angel Kantchev, a famous patriot and close associate of Vasil Levski, with whom they founded the illegal organization for Bulgarian independence, was born in this typical early 19th-century house. He was forced to commit suicide by a revolver bullet to the head, trapped by the Turks on a bridge in Roussé. This small museum brings together objects that belonged to him and presents a retrospective of his life and commitment.
