In Bulgarian: Св. Константин и Елена. Its bell tower dominates the old town and marks its landscape. This church was rebuilt in 1832 on the ruins of the oldest Christian church in Plovdiv. Superbly decorated, it houses magnificent frescoes and icons from various periods, including the icons of the iconostasis by Zahari Zograph, the talented painter of the National Revival period. A succession of masterpieces not to be missed.
