Structure supported by European funding.
This structure received European funding for its establishment in the early 2010s. Born in Chirpan, the Bulgarian poet Peyo Yavorov (1878-1914), a symbolist considered one of the greatest, met a tragic fate. A good connoisseur of the French language, he also translated many texts by Maeterlinck. The house in which he lived until he was 17 years old is a nice place to visit. In summer, the visiting hours are extended by one hour.
