A museum dedicated entirely to a painter from the Renewal period, and one of the hundred monuments of Bulgarian heritage.
In Bulgarian: Къща музей "Станислав Доспевски". It was in this beautiful old house that one of the most famous Bulgarian painters of the 19th century was born and lived: Stanislav Dospevski (1826-1876). The museum is also the only one in Bulgaria entirely dedicated to a painter from the Revival period. It is dedicated to his life and art. The museum is one of the 100 monuments of Bulgarian heritage. So be sure to visit it when you're in the Plovdiv region.
