This unique museum is dedicated to the mineralogy and geology of the Rhodopes. Here you can discover the different minerals and fauna of today. You'll learn how rock was shaped into caves and other formations, what insects and bats live in caves, see fossils of bears whose species became extinct 14,000 years ago and objects that belonged to cavemen. Legends in Bulgarian, but there is a small brochure in English.
