The association protectrice des animaux (A.P.A.) was created in 1956, and was recognized as a charitable organization in 1968. Today, it has a shelter in Gerzat, at Les Bas Charmets. It takes in lost or stray animals and works to find them new homes or reunite them with their owners. These few lines are an opportunity to pay tribute to all the volunteers who work every day to protect animals and, in so doing, restore human dignity. You too can help by becoming a volunteer or making a donation.
